Aluminium windows
Why aluminium joinery.
There's a reason aluminium became the standard for modern New Zealand joinery. It's strong enough for slim sightlines and big openings, it stands up to our weather, and it never needs the sanding and repainting that timber does. With a polyamide thermal break and Low-E double glazing, a modern aluminium frame is warm too, a long way from the cold single-glazed aluminium most people remember from the 80s. We design, make and fit it ourselves, so the whole house ends up in one suite and one colour.
Decades of low maintenance
Powder-coated aluminium won't rot, warp or need repainting the way timber and steel joinery does. An occasional wash keeps it looking new.
Made in Christchurch
Every frame is fabricated in our own workshop from New Zealand aluminium. None of it is imported or bought in, so we're accountable for the quality from the first cut to the final install.
Warm, thermally broken frames
A polyamide thermal break inside the frame stops heat conducting straight through the aluminium, which means warmer frames, fewer cold spots and less condensation.
Slim frames, more glass
Aluminium's strength lets us run slimmer sightlines and larger openings than other materials, so you get more light and a cleaner look.
The colour you want
Frames are powder-coated in a wide range of Dulux Duralloy colours and finishes, backed by a 15-year finish warranty. Match it to your cladding and roof.
Strong and secure
Modern multi-point locking and rigid frames come standard, and aluminium is fully recyclable at the end of its long life.

Aluminium windows
The questions we hear most.
Can't find what you're after? Send us a note and we'll come back inside three working days.
Old single-glazed aluminium was, because heat conducts straight through bare metal. Modern joinery fixes that in two places. A polyamide thermal break inside the frame stops heat travelling through the aluminium, and Low-E double glazing takes care of the glass. Put together, a thermally broken, double-glazed aluminium window is genuinely warm.
The 300 Series is our standard residential suite: affordable, durable double glazing, tested to meet or exceed NZS4211 for very high wind zones. The 800 Series adds a polyamide thermal break inside the frame for our best thermal performance, with warmer frames, less condensation and more headroom against tighter H1 requirements down the track. We'll recommend the right one room by room.
Yes. Frames are powder-coated in a wide range of Dulux Duralloy colours and finishes, backed by a 15-year finish warranty. Bring your cladding and roof samples to the showroom and we'll match the joinery so it reads as one considered scheme.
It's low-maintenance. An occasional wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth keeps it looking new. Clear the tracks and drainage slots now and then, and check the seals once a year. We leave you a care guide after install.
A 5-year workmanship warranty on every job, whether we install it or supply it for your own team to fit, plus manufacturer warranties on hardware (typically 2-5 years) and the powder-coat finish (15 years, Dulux Duralloy Plus). Glass carries a 10-year warranty against seal failure.
